British Motogp 2005 - 125cc
Heavy rain decimated the racing field at the British Motogp this weekend. All three races were declared wet, with delays also affecting the races.
The 125cc class returned after a break due to the Laguna Seca race, the race was red flagged on Lap 7 after the rain began falling heavily, with many riders crashing as the track became slippery & wet. The second half of the race was reduced to a 9 lap dash to avoid a delay for the following classes.
Pasini was flicked off his bike in the warm up lap. The rest of the field lined back up at the grid for the restart without incident. Miko Kallio started from the back of the grid due to a spark plug problem. The first few laps of the restart also had multiple riders going off the track, with the win finally going to Julian Simon on a Red Bull KTM.
